Who Pays to Have the Meat Processed and Packaged?
FHFH raises financial support to pay participating meat processors an average of $50 to process,
package and freeze the meat from each donated animal. The average deer-sized animal yields 50 lbs.
of meat. This equates to $1.00 per pound or about 25 cents per serving. Every donated deer provides
about 200 servings of high protein red meat for the hungry among us!


Chances are you're not going to bed hungry.The sad thing is one in five children in America goes to
bed each night with a hungry belly. Even mildly undernourished children may suffer abnormal physical,
emotional, and spiritual damage. The impact of childhood hunger can be lifelong.



Deer are like "little cows" that provide nutritious meat for the needy. When hunters share their harvest,
several things happen:

1. We return to our heritage as food providers.
2. We become more compassionate.
3. We are humble by the awesome power of our Lord at work feeding His hungry children!



For I was hungry and ye gave me meat: I was thirst and ye gave me drink... Verily I say unto
you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it
